I need to search all my PDF-A files for individual words == the documents were scanned and became editable and saved as searchable == eg, all the files that contain the word "camp". I read that Adobe X use to have ifilters built into them in recent years, but I cant figure out how to access it? I also read on the forum that Adobe decided to NOT include it in its newest version; has anything happened, where I can now download it? == I have a PC/ and MS Office standard 2013 / and windows 8.1/ I have 64bit, but the Office software is 32bit == I also was not able to search using Windows Explorer. On my home computer it works, but not on my office computer. At work it only pulls it up if the word is in the title of the document;; but at home it also pulls it up if the word is inside the doc. == any suggestions on how I can search these PDF-A files for individiual words? thanks! == PS I'm writing this from home, so I cant remember if it is Adobe Reader or Acrobat Reader, but it came with the new computer, so I'm guessing it is the free Reader, but I know it is "X" and is a red box image on the taskbar.
