Hi ,
It seems like you are using Reader and not Acrobat ,the function you have described above relates to Adobe Reader only.
Reader is a free software from Adobe and does not permit any kind of editing.
You might have got confused with the name ,i.e Adobe Acrobat Reader DC which ideally is Adobe Reader only and a lot different from Acrobat.
