Hi Fotofriek,
While holding down the shift key launch Photoshop and click yes on the prompt
What this does is that your Photoshop will open without any third party plugins or presets
If this above step helps you then please try uninstalling the plugins and then reinstalling them else contact the manufacturer of the third party plugins
