Hi Mariska,
as explained by resdesign, if you need only once a snapshot of your edge animate project, you can use the feature in edge animate (it creates a poster in a image file png).
But, like me, if you need to snapshot "dynamically" your edge animate, i think you need to add some server-side scripts to do this.
