I am using Acrobat CS4 (bundled with the Design Standard suite). For years I have had no problems on multiple computers. I got a new Acer laptop earlier this year and am confused at this problem. I am running Windows 8.1 and have no issues with my other Creative Suite programs, but when I open Acrobat, the first file shows just fine, but any subsequent files are just blank white documents. I can scroll through them (multiple pages if the file is more than one), but there's nothing to see. If I close the first document, the problem persists unless I completely close Acrobat. If I open the file that had just a blank screen before, it shows just fine, so I know it's not the files; it's definitely Acrobat. This is one of the strangest software errors I've run across. Please help. TIA.
